Packaging: The front of the box looks very good, with a very nice photo of the figure in an action pose over what looks like a map of Afghanistan with The U.S. Flag draped over the top of the box.
Headsculpt & Figure: The body is the Dragon NEO standard body and the headsculpt is outstanding. It sort of looks a bit like Wesley Snipes or a young Morgan Freeman. It is one of the best sculpts ever done for a Dragon figure.
The Outfit and Gear: The ammo pouch and grenade holder are very cool. The pouch opens up and you can put ammo clips in it. The only drawback on all of the pouches included in this set is that they fall right off. Two pouches have straight metal clips that even when they were bent still slipped off the tactical vest. The ammo pouch, back-pack and canteen had two plastic prongs that slid off also, and these prongs fell off the pouch and canteen also and had to be glued on. Even after gluing the prongs to the ammo pouch and the canteen; they continued to fall off of the tactical vest. The only solution would be to sew on or glue on all of the pouches to the vest. A nice handgun was included, but no holster. The extremely pretty knife's super-cool holster came apart at three seams before it was put onto the vest. No web-belt was included. The helmet has a night-vision scope attached and elastic webbing that was really loose and too large for the helmet. The shotgun is very well detailed. The outfit is the standard Desert camouflage version that Dragon produces.
Overall: This set looks great if you never take it out of the box. It is very unfortunate that "Curtis" has such an excellent headsculpt, and yet the gear is the worst ever in terms of functionality. The knife holster came apart at the glue points, which means either not enough glue was put on it or maybe the glue was old or cheap. This is the most disappointing Dragon figure I have ever put together, just because all of the gear was falling off as quickly as I was putting it on! This is a big surprise, as Dragon is known for making outstanding collectibles.
